Youth And Young Adult Ministries
The Youth and Young Adult ministry works to sustain and enhance the lives of our youth, and their parents and the young adults through education, prayer, and the sacramental life here at Saint Catherine Greek Orthodox Church. To achieve this goal, the youth and young adults are combined into similar age groups where through activities and events they have the opportunity to deepen their friendships with one another and further their knowledge and relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
♦ GOYA
YAL

YAL Young Adult League: Through activities and events and through attending services, young adults are encouraged and supported to build stronger relationships with their peers and to become well-rounded members of the parish community.
Welcome to GOYA
GOYA or Greek Orthodox Youth of America ministers to our middle school through high school students, ages 14-18. The focus of this ministry is to strengthen the spiritual friendship of young Orthodox Christians while acquiring a better understanding of who God the Holy Trinity is. GOYA works to educate young members of the Church, encouraging them to become active sacramental participants in the life of the Body of Christ.
Junior GOYA
Senior GOYA
What began as a passion project has evolved into something more. We’re proud of where we’ve been and even more excited for what’s ahead. What sets us apart isn’t just our process—it’s the intention behind it. We take time to understand, explore, and create with purpose at every turn.
Simple ideas
Through every step, we've focused on staying true to our values and making space for thoughtful, lasting work.
Lasting impact
We build with clarity, act with integrity, and always stay curious.

Hope & Joy
HOPE stands for Holy Orthodox Primary Education and JOY stands for Junior Orthodox Youth. Hope and Joy launches into new experiences for our young children including: Vacation Bible School, Christmas Program and the Holy Friday Youth Retreat. Other activities are planned throughout the year to educate our children in the Orthodox faith, build relationships within our church, serve our broader community through outreach and to provide our children with a safe, fun and loving environment to socialize.
LAP
Little Angels Playgroup
LAP provides opportunities for our youngest parishioners of Saint Catherine to get to know one another. Play groups are organized at local parks, play areas, or parishioner's homes to build foundational Orthodox relationships for our children and their parents. Additional events are planned throughout the year to give our youngest children the chance to participate in the liturgical life of the church.
