HOPE (Holy Orthodox Primary Education) K-2nd GRADE

WHAT IS HOPE?  HOPE is a ministry designed to gather all of our children in Kindergarten through 2nd Grade for fellowship, fun, and service. The goal of HOPE is to build relationships, friendships, and a sense of community amongst some of our parish’s youngest members. In addition, HOPE fosters an Orthodox lifestyle through the experiences of fellowship, service, and worship that characterize its meetings.

WHAT DOES HOPE DO? This year HOPE will be returning to an Event based model. So, once a month we will gather together for an activity, event, or service project. Possible events include, a Hay ride & Fall Fest, Bowling, A Christmas party, etc. Stay Tuned for an announcement with our Fall Schedule!

WHEN DOES HOPE MEET? This year we will be running HOPE a little differently. First, we will be splitting HOPE and JOY for our meetings and events. Secondly, we will no longer be meeting every Wednesday. Instead, HOPE will now meet once a month for a fun event, project, or activity.

JOY (Junior Orthodox Youth) 3rd-5th Grade

What is JOY? JOY is a ministry designed to gather Orthodox Youth in 3rd through 5th Grade for fellowship, fun, and service. JOY builds friendships amongst Orthodox Youth in an attempt to foster a sense of community, togetherness, and connectedness for the Youth. In today’s world, it is extremely important that our Children have Orthodox Friends to support them in living an Orthodox lifestyle. JOY promotes this lifestyle through the experiences of fellowship, service, and worship that characterize its meetings.
