New semester 2009 – 2010 Religious Education calendar and schedule coming soon. Church School will start September 13th. Please register your children for Sunday Church School, which will be held after Holy Communion on Sundays. Starting in September 2009, the Sunday schedule will be as follows:
8:15 Orthros
9:20 Doxology
9:30 – Divine Liturgy
10:35 – 11:35 – Church School for children
11:10 – Coffee Hour

This summer Saint George Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Greenville, SC started putting together a comprehensive web site on Orthodox Prayer. It is has material for the beginner as well as one who is exploring deeply Orthodox Prayer life. They have focused primarily on the teachings of the Church Fathers and included numerous articles and books. It also includes prayers for special occasion, commentaries on the Lord’s Prayer, the Jesus Prayer and more.
