A Review from the iTunes Music Store
Below is an anonymous review submitted at the iTunes Music Store, where many people around the world subscribe to our podcast.
If you want to learn about Eastern Orthodoxy, then this is the podcast for you. . . .
This isn’t a weekly or daily broadcast show. Rather, St. Catherine’s is posting the audio of their Educational series of lectures, along with their weekly sermons, retreats, and currently, a book-based seminar that I hope will be the first of many. What is especially impressive is that the book isn’t particularly Orthodox though it is about the monastic life.
The martial, no matter what the subject, is delivered warmly, compassionately, with authority but not without humility and humor.
Fr. Evan’s staff is posting the printed materials, referenced in the lectures, on their Website, though I hope they will soon post it here along with the few audio files they have available on their site that aren’t yet available here.
Again, this is the best Orthodox podcast series out there. Time will only make them better as they polish their abilities. Kudos to the Clergy and staff at St. Catherine’s. Enjoy and God Bless!
